This bath is big enough to share
Steam rises off the water as you settle against the porcelain edge, the surface broken only by the slow drift of your fingers tracing patterns near your hip. The tub stretches wide around you, an open invitation framed in white.
You glance toward the door, leaving it unlocked on purpose. There's room behind you, room for another set of knees bracketing yours, another pair of hands finding the waterline at your waist.
The faucet drips. You wait. The water stays warm longer when there's someone else in it, and you've already decided you're not getting out alone tonight.
